To Take Your Pleasure Seriously is a deck of 52 cards, it is a participatory artwork that invites you to draw a card at random each week for a year.
It is a slow unfolding, a long form practice, an invitation to attend to what brings aliveness. Each card carries an instructional poem, an offering, a prompt, a way of remembering and returning to the erotic as a gentle act of resistance.
The deck was created between 2021–2025 as part of a larger body of work emerging from a series of intimate conversations held with women across Miami, Gold Coast and Miami, Florida that was part of The Walls Artspace residency program MIAMI/MIAMI. This project is ongoing and continuing.
There are a limited edition of 33 sets of cards.
